1947 (Sunday) – Received a telegram, by telephone, saying Dorothy (Dorothy Snader) had a baby boy (Bruce Earl Hunter). Born today at 4:30 a.m. I received it before ten o’clock. I’m surely glad it is over with.
I attended Sunday School.
Afternoon – Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) and Agnes (Agnes Coalter Golightly) came down to visit the hospital to see Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt). I imagine she was very glad to see them as it was the first time since Eva came here this time.
In the evening I attended Sacrament Meeting. Brother Boen – speaker. It has been almost like a summer day today.
