Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1947 (Tuesday) – Today it has been almost like a summer day. I ironed and then went to Relief Society. It was held in the Chapel. Doris White in charge of the program, as it was in her place of her lesson. She had four cousins besides herself, and Della (Della Lunt) sang some songs and Marsha Josephson gave a book review. It was all very interesting. Afterwards, the Relief Society officers served pie in the Relief Society Room. I didn’t go in as I didn’t want to eat pie.

I should have stayed to meet with my committee, but it was getting quite late, so I came home.
