1947 (Thursday) – This morning George (George Thornton Holman) left for home. Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) is feeling a little stronger and is beginning to eat more solid food. I went to the bank. This evening I again went up Almond Street, this time to 263. I found an apartment house and all of the apartment were the same number, so I had quite a time locating Sister Alice Barney. She was pleased to see me and willing to cooperate with us in our work, as committee for D.U.P. meeting.
