1947 (Saturday) – I remained home all day and listened to Conference over the radio. The theme of the Conference seems to me to sound a warning to the people that they are having a chance to prepare themselves for the coming of the Saviour, by that God will not be mocked and it is up to us if we do receive the promised blessings. We are having a chance through the welfare work to love our God and our brothers and sisters as ourselves and it is up to us to prove ourselves.
Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) was operated on today, everything was alright and she got along fine.
