1902 (Monday) – Emma Wood took the babies (Alfred Oscar, Jr. and Lillian Lunt) over to their Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) while I washed. We had dinner there. In the evening Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) and Ruth (Ruth Sperry) came down for a little while. I received a letter from Esther (Emily Esther Sperry).

1902 (Friday) – In the afternoon Emma Wood and I took the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr. and Lillian Lunt) up to Grandfather Sperry’s (Charles Sperry). He gave Emma a lovely Patriarchal Blessing. I was his scribe. Emma left but I stayed with the children until dark.
