1946 (Saturday) – Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) did not feel well enough to return to work today, he is having trouble with his stomach.  I was busy at home all day, Eva (Eva Ruth Lunt) and George (George Thornton Holman) called here for a few minutes before leaving for home. They left around five o’clock.

1946 (Monday) – Labor Day. I remained home all day washing, ironing etc. Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) spent Sunday night down in Pleasant Grove. He brought home a bushel of peaches and one of tomatoes, some beets, apples, etc. Evening – Went to Daughters of Pioneers at Wards.
