1946 (Wednesday) – Bottled 22 quarts of tomatoes. Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) is having his vacation, he stays right at home, but he is trying to get some good nights rest, he is so tired, sleeping in the daytime. Sister Butler and I visited some homes.

1946 (Monday) – Labor Day. I remained home all day washing, ironing etc. Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) spent Sunday night down in Pleasant Grove. He brought home a bushel of peaches and one of tomatoes, some beets, apples, etc. Evening – Went to Daughters of Pioneers at Wards.
