1946 (Thursday) – Sister Smith and I went out as visiting teachers on our district. Many families were not at home, so we went again in the evening. We enjoyed our visits with the people and gave the message to all the homes where they were at home.

1946 (Wednesday) – I went up to the library at nine o’clock and worked until noon. Had a good sleep in the afternoon. Evening – Sister Smith and I went to the Nineteenth Ward to a show put on by the Mutual Stake Board. It was very good.

1946 (Monday) – I received some records on family group sheets and pedigree charts from my sister Della (Emma Della Sperry). Went to town and spent about three hours at the library. Evening – Went over to Sister Ereksen’s for an hour.

1946 (Saturday) – Was home all day. Besides the housework, I cleaned two doors in the front room and cleaned the three drawers in the closet. My what a job that was as they contained the accumulations of years and I almost filled two bushel baskets of trash to be burned.
