1945 (Tuesday) – Attended the funeral of Sister Margaret Rawlings at the Taylor Mortuary, sat by Sister Holman, her husband is a relative. The services were splendid and there were lovely flowers. 1945 (Monday) – I washed, went to the library and studied my lesson for next Sunday, also worked on the Mansfield record. In checking, I find that most of the temple work has already been done. Evening – Went to the Daughters of the Pioneers meeting.

Sister Robbins wanted me to become a teacher and accompany Sister Smith on her District as Sister Spitzbardt wants to resign. Evening – at home.
