1896 (Monday) – I went to school. Evening – I went to choir practice.

1896 (Sunday) – I walked out to the farm and stayed there all night.

1896 (Thursday)- Attending school, went to choir practice and attended a music lesson. (13th and 14th).

1896 (Wednesday) – In the evening I attended a ragbee at Aunt Augusta Sperry’s (Emma Augusta Taylor). Slept there, it was two o’clock before we got to bed.

1896 (Sunday) – Attended Sunday School then went to the post office where I found a letter from May (May Grover). I borrowed a book from Rose Bailey and in the afternoon I remained home and read a story called “Wrong from the First.”
