1916 (Sunday) – Della Shaw came down and helped me with the work and then she quit working for me, only she will come and wash for a while. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) came home on the noon train. In the afternoon I went to meeting.

1916 (Thursday) – Della Shaw was sick and couldn’t come to work, so the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert, Eva Ruth, Della, Earl Sperry and George Arthur Lunt) had to do the work. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) left for a trip up north.

1916 (Wednesday) –  My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) went to Sanpete in the car, I rode as far as Mother’s (Caroline Webb) and stayed there until they returned in the afternoon, then I came home with them.

1916 (Sunday) – The South Ward had its first meeting in the new ward church. I attended the afternoon meeting. We had a lovely meeting. There was a nice choir, so we enjoyed good music and it being fast meeting many good testimonies were born.

1916 (Saturday) – Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) had a surprise on Wallace (Wallace Joseph Vickers), they are living up at Mother’s (Caroline Webb) now and Wallace is going to Chicago to school. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt), Lillian (Lillian Lunt) and I went to the party and enjoyed ourselves very much.
