1945 (Wednesday) – Afternoon – Attended the funeral of Mildred’s (Mildred Gladys Sperry) husband (John Alden Reid). There were a lovely lot of flowers, good services at the mortuary at the mortuary on 7th South between State and Main (Deseret). Art (Arthur David Sperry) and Gertrude (Gertrude Barton) brought me home.
