1945 (Wednesday) – Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took me out to Della’s (Della Lunt) about 8 a.m. I spent most of the day helping Della with some jelly and tomatoes. Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) and Della brought me home. Judy’s (Judith Ann Gabbitas) eye seems a little better.

1945 (Sunday) – I directed the class activity, we had about 24 present. Afternoon – I slept for an hour or two, went over to Esther’s (Emily Esther Sperry) to get some vegetables left there by Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) and Wallace (Wallace Joseph Vickers) for us. I attended Sacrament Meeting.
