1916 (Monday) – We were quarantined with measles, Della (Della Lunt) is sick with them. Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) went with his father (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and then brought the car home his cousin Fred (Frederick Earl Lunt) went with him.

1916 (Sunday) – Della Shaw came down and helped me with the work and then she quit working for me, only she will come and wash for a while. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) came home on the noon train. In the afternoon I went to meeting.

1916 (Thursday) – Della Shaw was sick and couldn’t come to work, so the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert, Eva Ruth, Della, Earl Sperry and George Arthur Lunt) had to do the work. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) left for a trip up north.
