1895 (Sunday) – I walked out home, spent most of the morning reading. Aunt Lucy (Lucy Jane Webb) came down and spent most of the day trying to help make Mother’s (Caroline Webb) dress. In the afternoon, I pared and cored some apples to dry. Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) took Aunt Lucy home and remained there all night.
