1895 (Tuesday) – Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I cut corn and put in Brian about five gallons of sweet corn. In the evening, we went up town to Physical Culture, I joined the class. Afterwards, we drove out home. As we were going down the lane Dolly, our horse, got scared of a big sagebrush, and I was surely afraid she was going to tip us over.
