1895 (Friday) – We washed all day. In the evening, Father (Charles Henry Sperry) and Mother (Caroline Webb) and Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) went up town and remained all night. Ada Salisbury came down; she must have spent the night with me, as she and I played cards with Dwight Sparks (Charles Dwight Sparks) and my brother Melvin (Henry Melvin Sperry) until midnight.
