1895 (Friday) – We washed all day. In the evening, Father (Charles Henry Sperry) and Mother (Caroline Webb) and Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) went up town and remained all night. Ada Salisbury (Ada Haydee Salisbury) came down; she must have spent the night with me, as she and I played cards with Dwight Sparks (Charles Dwight Sparks) and my brother Melvin (Henry Melvin Sperry) until midnight.
