1897 (Saturday) – I went up town and up to Burton’s. Then down to Aunt Lucy Webb Schofield’s (Lucy Jane Webb) she wanted me to go to the Drug Store for her. Our new druggist waited on me; he seems to be quite nice. From there I went over to the post office and then up to Mrs. Harry Goldsbrough’s. I stayed there until almost four o’clock and then on up to Grandma Sperry’s (Emily Louisa Miller), she is very sick with bronchitis. From there I went up to Burton’s where I remained all night. In the evening, Oscar Lunt (Alfred Oscar Lunt) came up and spent the evening.
