Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1897 (Monday) – Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I walked up town, we went to Grandmother’s (Emily Louisa Miller) and then I went over to Aunt Emma’s (Emma Elizabeth Webb) and took a music lesson. I went down to the court house but Mr. Foote was not there so I could not practice. I went over to the post office and then crossed the street where Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and Fred Moore were standing talking. I talked with them for a minute or two then Oscar walked with me as far as Aunt Sarah Abbott’s (Sarah Elizabeth Sperry) home. I called at Grandmother’s and then up to Burton’s. I went down to Foote’s for a shorthand lesson afterwards I went over to Kendall’s and then up to Aunt Augusta’s (Emma Augusta Taylor). Spent the night at Burton’s. Oscar came up and spent the evening.
