1897 (Thursday) – Father (Charles Henry Sperry) and I walked up town. I called at Grandmother Sperry’s (Emily Louisa Miller) and Lil Black (Lillie May Black) and I went down town afterwards I went up to Burton’s. In the evening I went down to Foote’s for a lesson. When I returned to Burton’s, Mrs. Burton (Frances Haddy Betenson) and I went down town to post a letter. Later Oscar Lunt (Alfred Oscar Lunt) came up.
