1897 (Saturday) – Toward evening Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and I walked up town, we called at Della Kendall’s (Adella Kendall) and then went up to Burton’s. In the evening we went down to choir practice we found there wasn’t going to be any, we returned to Burton’s where we spent the night.
