1897 (Sunday) – Della (Adella Kendall) called for me to go to Sunday School. We called for Mrs. Moore but she wasn’t ready so we went on without her. After Sunday School we called at the post office and as we were passing the drug store Lon Lunt came out and walked along with us. We left Della on Higgins corner and walked up together. We stood talking down by the bridge for a few minutes and then I went up to Burton’s. In the afternoon, I went up to Sarah Coles to see Della Kendall and we went over to Bigler’s, about five I came back to Burton’s. In the evening Mrs. Moore came up and I went home with her. Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt) came up with Fred (Fred Moore) we sat there talking for a little while and then Oscar and I went back up to Burton’s. Fred and Millie (Millie Moore) walked part ways with us.
