1904 (Wednesday) – I took Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) down town, there was a band playing by the Court House, we stopped and listened to the music, then went on one or two errands, calling at the home of Sister Cazier’s (Mary Ann Parkes). I had not seen her since before they were quarantined with smallpox. It seemed so good to see her again. In the evening Della (Emma Della Sperry) and I went down to Grandpa Sperry’s (Charles Sperry) for a while.
