1904 (Thursday) – I called for Sister E. D. Sorenson to go to Relief Meeting. We met Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) on the corner and went to meeting. I felt sorry that we were a little late. Sister Cazier gave the lesson on the ‘Social Culture of a Child’, spoke of teaching then good manners at the table so they would not be a nuisance to others, as well as themselves. She said we must be firm and have the children mind but rather have then mind through love than fear. We should keep them home at nights and not let them wander the streets. It was a splendid meeting. Lillian (Lillian Lunt) got her hand hurt.
