Journal: Jeanette Sperry

1904 (Tuesday) – We were busy all morning preparing for company. In the afternoon, Grandma and Grandpa Sperry (Emily Louisa Miller and Charles Sperry), Mrs. Bread (from LaHarpe, Illinois), Aunt Mollie Wheeler (Marion Olive Sperry) and son (either: William Joy, Charles Hugh or Harrison Sperry Wheeler), Aunt Gusta Sperry (Emma Augusta Taylor), Aunt Emily Black (Mary Emily Sperry), Aunt Sarah Abbott (Sarah Elizabeth Sperry), Grandpa and Grandma Lunt (Alfred Lunt and Priscilla Pitt) and Mame Sparks (Mary Emily Sparks) came up to spend the afternoon and evening, but Aunt Mollie, Sarah and Gusta had to leave right after supper, the rest stayed until after eleven o’clock and all seemed to enjoy themselves very much. The next three days, tried to get some sewing done.
