1904 (Wednesday) – I prepared dinner for a friend of Retta’s (Retta Sperry) that was passing through Nephi on her way to Manti, Edwardena Perry. She was not a stranger to me as I knew her as a little girl, when I stayed with Uncle Harry (Miles Harrison Sperry) and Aunt Sarah Sperry’s (Sarah Edmunds) one winter and went to school in Manti, she was a niece of Aunt Sarah. Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) came and slept at our house.
