1904 (Thursday) – I ironed all day. Evening, Lettie C. Adams took Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) and Lillian (Lillian Lunt) over to McCune’s, where she was living. She gave them a beautiful red rose apiece. She brought them home and visited with us for a short time. Mrs. Jenkins came in to see me for awhile, her husband called and took Alfred for a buggied ride, he had his donkey hitched up and he let Alfred drive a little. Alfred can’t get over talking about it, he was so thrilled. My sister Lillian (Lillian May Sperry) slept here.
