1904 (Friday) – It was cloudy in the morning but the sun came out later and we enjoyed our day very much, my baby (Charles Gilbert Lunt) acted tickled to be there in fact all the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian and Charles Lunt) seemed to enjoy themselves. We sent the boys (George Teasdale and Angus Miller) to some farm to borrow a lantern for the night. We played Chess Arabia until the moon came up, but we don’t know what time that was.
