1904 (Thursday) – For the last three days, we have been trying to get straightened around a bit. Great-Grandpa Lunt (Edward Lunt) came down to see us. In the afternoon, I took Bert (Charles Gilbert Lunt) and walked uptown. Seems like I called at nearly every store in town, including the meat market. Then I went up to Teasdales to see Jen (Jennie Teasdale). Afterwards, I went out to Great-Grandpa Lunt’s to see Aunt Lissie Batchelor (Elizabeth Lunt) whose daughter, Sarah Batchelor Shaw (Sarah Elizabeth Batchelor) has just died. Then I walked home. It was dark and I was very tired.
