1905 (Thursday) – My husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) is up town, so I am all alone with the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian and Charles Gilbert Lunt) and while waiting for them to go to sleep, thought I would write once more.
Today I wanted to go to meeting but the weather is so unsettled and the children so miserable I remained at home. This evening my husband went uptown he had only been gone a few minutes when Mr. Ed Sparks (Edward Hamilton Sparks) called to see him. It rather startled me when he knocked as I was alone with the children and we do not have visitors in the evening very often.
