1905 (Monday) – I received a letter from Emma Huggins saying it was impossible for her to come. So I had to start hunting for another girl. I tried to get Maggie Pass, but she does not go out, but she suggested that I try and get Frances Kirgan, she was willing to come, but could not until the following Monday. I went to Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt), in the afternoon, Emma (Emma Della Sperry) brought three or four of her school children down for me to teach them a song.
