1906 (Tuesday) – Clara (Clara Golden) has gone sleigh riding. The children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert and Eva Ruth Lunt) are all asleep and I am alone and to think I am well again, My throat is entirely healed, how good my Heavenly Father has been to me in answering the prayers of those brethren on my behalf so soon. It seems almost too good to be true. I have to keep swallowing to convince myself that I am free from that terrible pain. Lillian went over to Wood’s a while this afternoon.
