1906 (Wednesday) – I took the children (Alfred Oscar, Jr., Lillian, Charles Gilbert and Eva Ruth Lunt) down to their Grandma Lunt’s (Priscilla Pitt) for the day. There was an excursion down here from up north. The merchants coming down to get acquainted with our merchants. There was a banquet then a short meeting and then they all returned to Provo. Our visit today with Grandmother was so that we might see the people and hear the band. There were about seven hundred people and two bands. In the evening I attended a board meeting.
