1916 (Sunday) – It has been a week since I wrote. Tuesday May 16th, My sister Lillian Carter (Lillian May Sperry) was here to sew. In the afternoon, I went to Relief Meeting, but the walk was almost too much for me as my foot has been swollen quite bad since and pains me a great deal. On Thursday 18th, I went down to my sister Lillian’s for the day. I took Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) and Arthur (George Arthur Lunt) with me and we enjoyed our day very much. Today not feeling very well, I did not attend church. My Husband (Alfred Oscar Lunt) took us for a ride.
