1947 (Wednesday) – I went up to the Library shortly after nine o’clock, worked half an hour in the Library then went down to Brother Bennett’s office. He came upstairs and found some new material for me on the Wheeler line. He had worked out that line one time in class on Dorothy Hadlock’s pedigree, so was familiar with the problem. It gives us the name of the father with a second wife (not our ancestress) and the children of both wives, but the name of the first wife was not given and our Thomas was the first child.
It was afternoon when I got home. After dinner Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt), Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I house cleaned our bedroom, took us about three hours.
