1947 (Sunday) – Pearl (Eva Pearl Sperry) and I did not go to Sunday School, we just visited. Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) called for her and they went and purchased their tickets to California. After dinner at Esther’s, they came back here and Pearl took pictures of Esther and I in our pioneer costumes.
Pearl phoned from Esther’s to see if I wanted to go for a little ride with Vallon (Vallon Sperry Vickers) and his wife (Ruth Jane Klomp). We rode out north aways, then up by the capitol and out south to about 14th South, the east. Stopped and had an ice cream cone, then rode north until the avenues and rode around there for whole looking at lovely homes.
Pearl slept with me.
