1947 (Tuesday) – We have been quite busy today with housework, ironing and looking after a sick man (Alfred Oscar Lunt) . His brother, Shed Lunt (Shadrach James Lunt) came to see him for a little while. He and Florence (Sarah Florence McCune) are visiting in the city and left today in the afternoon for Nephi to attend a big centennial celebration there lasting for four days.
I went down to Report Meeting at Relief Society, turned the report over to Sister Butler and then came home. This evening Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) and Della (Della Lunt) and two children, Chip (Gordon Lewis Gabbitas) and Teddy (Ted Lunt Gabbitas), came here for a while. Port gave Father a good shave doing the neck as well as the face.
