1947 (Wednesday) – Lillian (Lillian Lunt) made two big trips to town today and attended a picture show. Father (Alfred Oscar Lunt) is still improving, but his kidneys are in a bad condition and don’t seem to respond very good to treatments. Dr. Taylor came here to see Oscar and said he is doing nicely. He can have most anything to eat but especially vegetables, lean meat and fruit and fruit juices, but must have no salt at all. The Dr. said due to his age, his arteries are hardening. He is still quite weak and certainly likes a lot of waiting on.
Al Emery, from Tedesco’s office, came down to see Father. He brought some papers (claim papers from Lincoln Insurance Company). He was very nice and promised to take care of it after the doctor has filled in his report. Later Dr. Taylor came to see Father, said he was getting along nicely. He took the papers to enter his report.
