1947 (Wednesday) – Lillian (Lillian Lunt), Esther (Emily Esther Sperry), Maxine (Maxine Carter) and her two girls (Ardith Sharon and Anice Rae Allen) went out to Saltair in the afternoon. Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) and I had to get our own supper and I washed dishes. Just finishing when Port (Porty Lewis Gabbitas) and Della (Della Lunt) came in. It was the first they had heard about my accident. My sister Lillian (Lillian May Sperry) also came down after work. She sure laid down the law to me what I should do or not do. Course we usually suit ourselves whether we mind or not. I know she wouldn’t pay any attention to anything I would advise her to do. Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) came in early in the afternoon and visited with us awhile.
