1947 (Monday) – I did a little washing and made some greengage preserves. I went up to Earl’s (Earl Sperry Lunt) and talked to Grace (Grace Viola Harper) for a few minutes. It’s a little hard for me to do all the work as my leg aches so when I’m on it so much.
