1947 (Thursday) – Was very busy at home all day, including cleaning my back porch and scrubbing the back porch.
I received a lively letter from Bess Kasten and one from Mrs. Chloe Lunt (Chloe Haws).
Florence (Sarah Florence McCune) called on the phone and we chatted for about 10 or 15 minutes then I went down to the ward, met Esther (Emily Esther Sperry) and we went in and renewed our Temple Recommends for another year.
