1947 (Saturday) – I walked up to the market and home again. While up there I went to the Mortuary to view the remains of Sister Melvina Broadhead, who passed away two or three days ago. She looked lovely, so peaceful and happy. She was 86 years old, but didn’t look it.
Received a letter from Lillian (Lillian Lunt), she may be back next week.
