1947 (Saturday) – Again I listened over the radio to the Conference, Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) also sat and listened to all of the sermons.
Bert’s (Charles Gilbert Lunt) family (Agnes Coalter Golightly; Patricia Jean, Mary Elizabeth, Robert Gordon and Judith Ann Lunt), all by Jean and Robert, came in. They went shopping for school clothes or birthday presents.
They had dinner with us before returning home. Agnes always comes in laden with good things to eat instead of letting us provide the meal.
Carl (Carl Hatch Hunter) and Dorothy (Dorothy Snader) attended the afternoon session of Conference.
