1947 (Monday) – In the afternoon Lillian (Lillian Lunt) and I went over to Earl’s (Earl Sperry Lunt) and helped Grace (Grace Viola Harper) pick over the sage. This morning the doctor called, but Dad (Alfred Oscar Lunt) was out for a walk and didn’t get to see him. He said Dad could go off his diet of rice and fruit, and he was surely glad to learn that.
