1947 (Monday) – Was busy at home all day, towards evening I finished our relief visits for October. It was quite dark and I don’t like being out alone at night, especially going into homes I’m not too familiar with. Since my accident I fall so easily and if I stumble a little I just can’t save myself from falling. I suppose it is the result of the terrible strain I’ve been through this summer. Oscar (Alfred Oscar Lunt) is able to walk over to the tabernacle and back and even goes up around this block. He seems quite a bit better and the doctor seems rather pleased with his improvement.
