1947 (Thursday) – About noon Earl (Earl Sperry Lunt) took Lillian (Lillian Lunt) out to their new home to remain the afternoon as Edna (Edna Viola Nelson) is teaching school and her mother (Grace Viola Harper) is down to Pleasant Grove and they are expecting some things to be delivered.
It was past dark when she came home and we had to hustle to get ready for The Daughters of the Pioneer meeting. It was very nice, including the decorations, which consisted of lovely flowers, mostly mums, and a centerpiece representing a cornucopia, filled to overflowing with all kinds of fruits.
