1945 (Saturday) – Was busy at home most of the day, tending babies (David Warren and Kathleen Astle) part time. Georgetta (Georgetta Marie Lunt) surely has her hands full with two babies to care for, but she is certainly a sweet little mother.

1945 (Friday) – I called Georgetta (Georgetta Marie Lunt) at 5 a.m. Some of the Astle’s called and took she and babies (David Warren and Kathleen Astle) to the canyon for breakfast. Later, she went horseback riding with some of the family’s younger members, it was late afternoon when she came home.
