1896 (Tuesday) – In the evening I went down to McCune’s for another practice then Sadie (Sarah Florence McCune), Pearl (Margaret Pearl McCune) and I went to Mutual together. I sang the song “Lullaby”. It was a conjoint meeting between both wards. Roy McCune and Edna Morris brought me home.

1896 (Monday) – Attended school. Afterwards, Sadie McCune (Sarah Elizabeth McCune), Zina Sorenson and I accompanied Will Sparks (William Lamont Sparks) to his home. Evening – I went to the dance. It was a missionary farewell party for Frank Sells, Brother Bruff and Brother Winn. I answered the letter from May Grover.
