1902 (Wednesday) – Left the babies with my sister Della (Emma Della Sperry) and Alice Andrews while I went to the old folk’s home. Lillian (Lillian Lunt) didn’t wake up at all but Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) had just awakened as I got home.

1902 (Tuesday) – I kept them home all day. Father (Charles Henry Sperry) & Mother (Caroline Webb) came out and stayed with us for supper. Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) is always pleased to have some of the folks visit us.

1902 (Monday) – This morning Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.), with Mrs. Orme’s two little girls, ran away and Mrs. Orme found them two or three blocks down in the field. 1902 (Sunday) – I left Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) over to Orme’s and took Lillian (Lillian Lunt) to meeting; we had supper at Orme’s and stayed there until half past eight.

1902 (Friday) – I took the children up to their Grandma Sperry’ (Caroline Webb) then we went down to their great Grandfather Sperry’s (Charles Sperry), they were celebrating their wedding day, we stayed until after one o’clock. 1902 (Tuesday) – Alfred (Alfred Oscar Lunt, Jr.) had a fever for about three days but is feeling much better today. This morning Lillian (Lillian Lunt) awoke about seven thirty, she lay there cooing to herself and dropped off to sleep again and slept until nine o’clock.
